Vinyl LP but I'm not mad at FIDLAR for being bitchy kids with problems that aren't really problems. I think this album works as just a huge upgrade from their debut. I liked maybe three songs off that self titled LP, and felt the rest of the album was cookie cutter garage punk, but Too just gets a shot.

FIDLAR’s credo is the kind of thing that inspires cults: F*ck It, Dog, Life’s a Risk. With their songs about drinking cheap beer, sucking at surfing and being stoked and broke, the L.A. band’s first album and furious live shows put them at the epicenter of the local garage-punk scene.

Aug 14,  · One of my favorite bands (FIDLAR) covering one of my favorite new acts (Billie Eilish) deserves some recognition, but especially when they just crush it. This is the definition of a great cover. Elements of the original track come through clearly, namely the muted, breathless vocals in the chorus that Eilish is known for.

Sep 04,  · Punks is a re-working of one of FIDLAR’s non-album tracks The Punks are Finally Taking Acid. One of Zac’s favourites to play live. Written by Zac Carper and Elvis Kuehn.

Sep 03,  · Review: Punk band FIDLAR grows up with new LP ‘Too’ Sometimes punks have to grow up. They have to get a real job, move out of their parents’ house, cover up their stick-and-poke tattoos and.

Nov 21,  · Fidlar – Too (LP) What is it about punk rock which lends itself to vinyl recordings so effectively? To be fair, Fidlar ‘s sophomore album, Too, also sounded good on CD, but those who have heard both and have to choose won’t be able to deny that vinyl is the ideal medium for this release.

All readily apparent on this, their self-titled debut album on Mom + Pop Records. The album was recorded and produced by the band in LA and then mixed by Rob Schnapf (Elliot Smith, Beck, Guided By Voices etc) and is 14 slices of insanely catchy and tuneful punk rock. Vinyl includes audio download.

Artist has become one of the premiere names in the punk rock scene since emerging with their debut EP. This limited edition 'brown bottle' colored 7' vinyl features standout tracks from the band's sophomore album TOO.
